Writing this on the wordpress app on my new samsung galaxy s, the app works great and with the swype input it finally makes sence using a mobile phone for blogging!
I’m really impressed with the phone itself, the screen is the best I’ve seen so far and the performance is frigging awesome, my only problem is that I keep finding myself thinking that I’m holding a strange kinda modified version of my iphone making me stop and rethink where all my apps are,,, no biggy though, I’m sure there are people out there with bigger problems than me…
..Anyway after updating the system from android 2.1 to froyo I took the time and ported an early unoptimized version of the game “Fire House” that I’m currently developing for the iphone, just to see how it would perform on a device that fully supports flash. The result was amazing.
The galaxy performed a silky smooth 40 fps without any lag at all running tons of timelined animated movieclips and sounds. Hurray!
